Space is the container of our living. Every container will fill up a different plan. We try to extend the experiencer’s future life behavior, to customize a more vivid live making plan. To create the living level of the experiencer, the design adjusts the percentage of the living room and kitchen, showing a stylish and open layout to achieve the experiencer’s expectations. The project is 185 square meters.
In this project, we re-define the layout of the living room and kitchen, resulting in an inside kitchen. To avoid the light being blocked out by the narrow space, we design a floating display cabinet in front of the wall, allowing the light to go through and soften all the space lines. The opposite way of a marble television wall, we set up a complete wood pattern storage box to preserve the fully layout and also functionality.
In the beginning, we used three-dimensional techniques on the television wall in the living room, following the different ratio cutting method of marble to enhance the visual sense. We also extended the pattern of marble to the kitchen to accommodate space and living habits. Design concerns the connections between the humanity inclinations and natures that gratify the clients’ preferences based on the multiple values of design.
The project was completed in February 2018 in ChiaYi City, Taiwan. The design was awarded Iron in the A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2019. The Iron A' Design Award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, they provide fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
